South Bay Family Health Care provides a range of primary and preventive care services for the entire family:
Adult Medicine: Diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, laboratory tests and medications for acute and chronic illnesses.
Chronic Disease Management: Detection, monitoring and management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and congestive heart failure.
Women’s Health: Annual physical exams, gynecological exams, breast and cervical cancer screening and preventive care.
Prenatal Care: Comprehensive clinical and supportive care from physicians, health educators, nutritionists and social workers for expectant mothers.
Pediatric Care: Acute illness care, regular check-ups, immunizations, health education, nutritional counseling
Dental Care: (At our Redondo Beach and Gardena sites.) Preventive care, cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings and extractions. For adults and children five and older.
Social Services: Mental health, domestic violence prevention and HIV/AIDS treatment and case management provided through a combination of on-site services and referrals to community partners.
Pregnancy Testing: Includes counseling on a full range of options for women.
Family Planning: Family planning options and counseling for both men and women.
HIV/AIDS Testing and Counseling: Confidential testing, mental health and case management services.
Health Education: Specialized classes on diet, exercise, disease management and healthy lifestyle choices.
Lab Services: Diagnostic radiology services available to all patients through our collaboration with local hospitals. Additionally, state-of-the-art digital imaging services are also available at the Dr. Claudia Hampton Clinic in Inglewood.
On-site Dispensary: Prescription medications available to patients at each clinic.
Teen Walk-In Clinic: Confidential, free or low-cost STD testing and family planning services for teens 12 and older. Walk-in clinic at Redondo Beach only, Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
